What a top-up is and what it's for
A top-up is airtime, data or minutes you buy from here that land straight on a phone line in another country. It's how you keep someone from running out of credit while you are an ocean away.
Whoever receives it does nothing: no app to install, no account to open here, no money to pay you back. It lands on their phone exactly as if they had bought it there.
Three steps and it's on its way
Pick what and how much
The country, the type of top-up and the amount. Under each option you'll see what the person receives and what you pay.
Type the number
Just the number, without the country code — the page adds that. Check it carefully, because it's the one thing here that cannot be undone.
Pay, and it arrives
By card, with PayPal or with your balance. As soon as the payment clears, the top-up goes out to the carrier.
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to arrive?
Usually a few minutes: it goes out to the carrier as soon as the payment clears. If the carrier never completes it, the order is marked as failed and the amount goes back to your balance automatically.
Does the person receiving it have to do anything?
No. They need no account here, no app and nothing to confirm. It lands on their line and that's it.
Can I cancel or change a top-up I've paid for?
No. A top-up delivered to the carrier cannot be recovered, which is why the page insists you check the number before paying. If the delivery never completes, the amount does go back to your balance.
Do I need an account?
Yes. When you continue we ask you to sign in or create an account, because the order is kept under your name and you can look it up from there. It takes a minute.
How can I pay?
By card, with PayPal or with your wallet balance, in full or in part. The available methods are shown on the payment screen.
Is the price I see the final one?
Yes. Under each amount you'll see what the person receives and what you pay, fees already included. Nothing is added afterwards.
Which countries can I top up?
Cuba and over a hundred more. Cuba is the default; for any other, change the country above and pick the carrier of the line you're topping up.
